Future site managers in the making: R&M Williams supports Whitestone Primary School

As part of its social value commitment on the West Cross project for Swansea Council, R&M Williams donated signage to Whitestone Primary School in Swansea, where Year 2 pupils have been putting it to good use in their construction role play area.

The donation was the first in what has become a series of contributions to the school, with each one aimed at enhancing curriculum learning and bringing the world of construction to life for young pupils.

Last Friday, Contracts Manager Jonathan Pendry, Liaison Officer Llywelyn Edwards, and Head of Social Value Freya Church visited the school, where the children personally thanked the team for their support.

Freya Church said: “It’s brilliant to see the children engaging with construction in such a creative way. Small things can spark big ambitions, and we’re looking forward to continuing our partnership with Whitestone Primary.”
