Back to The Brushes for One Life Autism

There’s something fitting about a day spent with paintbrushes in hand. Painting and decorating is where R&M Williams started, so getting back to it for a good cause felt right.

We spent the day at One Life Autism in Ebbw Vale, giving our time to paint fences and furniture across the charity’s site.

The day was devised in partnership with our client Tai Calon at leadership level, with Johanna Reames and Freya Church shaping it. Our team of Alex Read, Freya Church, Alex Ball and Llywelyn Edwards rolled up their sleeves alongside representatives from Tai Calon to get the work done.

Alex Read said: “It was great to get out of the office and away from the screens for the day. Best of all was getting to know the individuals from the Tai Calon team better, and our own colleagues, while we worked.”

A big thank you to Crown Decorating Centres, who sponsored the painting supplies and made the day possible. Days like this show what our supply chain can do when we work together. Good social value is rarely down to one company acting alone. When we lean on our suppliers and partners, we get more done and the community feels the benefit.

It was a brilliant day for a brilliant cause, and exactly the kind of hands-on support we’re proud to give the communities we work in.
