Carmarthenshire County Council – Minor works framework
Between 2019-2024 we completed domestic voids works and non-domestic minor works for Carmarthenshire County Council. Throgh our Voids work, we ensures their housing stock is up to Welsh Housing Quality Standards, and properties are made ready for the next resident as soon as possible.
For work in occupied premises, we delivered refurbishments of care homes, schools and day centres, oftentimes in live environments, where the main challenge came from safeguarding potentially vulnerable persons. Through our rigorous Customer Care training, Safeguarding training and proactive communication, we created safe environments regardless of context.
We provided extensive community benefits, by supporting apprenticeships and traineeships, supporting local cause via in-kind, financial or labour donations, as well as supporting local people into long-term employment.
We have recently been awarded a new framework agreement going forward, so we will continue to work closely with the Council and residents in the Carmarthenshire area.
R&M Williams have been delivering quality works for the Carmarthenshire County Council Minor Works Framework since its inception in 2019, to high levels of quality, health and safety standards and customer care. They have worked on 180+ properties during this time, with works varying in scope and complexity within our housing and non-housing stock. I have found their delivery approach collaborative and considerate of neighbours, with each property completed with a high-quality finish, to budget, to specification and accident/incident free.
